Pulsatilla vulgaris relieves nervous mental states that manifest in frontal and supra-orbital headaches, and headaches from overwork. Sanguinaria canadensis has a regulatory effect on the blood vessels to the head to prevent both dilation and spasm. It treats menopausal headaches and flashes of heat with headaches that start in the occiput, spreads over the head and settles over the eyes. Sepia officinalis relieves portal venous congestion that leads to head pain with nausea and a sensitive feeling in the scalp. Veratrum viride has an anti-congestive effect on the circulatory system and reduces blood pressure.
